1 - HACIENDA RIQUELME - This Nicklaus Design course has 18 holes, is par 72 and is larger than average. The fairways of the golf course run between Olive trees, wild flowers and 5 lakes. At 6,300 metres, it is the longest course

2 - LA TORRE BEST GOLF - This Nicklaus Design course has 18 holes, par 68 course with four sets of tees and 3 lakes. The course has reduced dimension fairways and large bunkers. At 5,400 metres, it is a course where accuracy and strategy are fundamental. Provisional distances (in metres): (white) 5,350; (yellow) 4,934; (blue) 4,433; (red) 3,822

3 - MAR MENOR - Dave Thomas originally designed this 9 hole, par 36 course although Nicklaus Design is expanding the course to 18 holes and adapting the original 9. The course has a smooth feel, wide fairways and large, simply shaped bunkers

4 - EL VALLE BEST GOLF - This Nicklaus Design course has 18 holes, par 71 with four sets of tees and has a suitable desert feel. It has 2 lakes, streams, small waterfalls and groups of bunkers all surrounded by rocks and abundant native vegetation which makes this course one of the great challenges of the Nicklaus Golf Trail

7 - La Serena Golf close to the sea an 18-Hole Golf Course designed by Manuel Piñero 6.168 metres course, with fairways of an average 30 metres wide Large, undulating greens in the Florida style.

9 - Lo Romero Golf is close to Pilar de la Horadada is a very special 18-hole course. Its varied and meticulous design adjusted to the gentle relief and Mediterranean vegetation makes it a nice round to play on this course and the ideal place to practice this sport. For those who enjoy overcoming small challenges, hole 18 has been tailor-made: the green is an island in the middle of the lake. It looks like an easy shot: you just have to bounce the ball over the lake surrounding it. But the fear to strike the ball too hard or too gentle and the ball landing in the water makes your hand go unsteady, your heart beat very fast, your adrenaline raise and your senses sharpen.

10 - Torre Pacheo is a 9 hole municipal course but very short at 1047 metres par 27, it is also possible to play at night, designed by David Thomas

11 - La Manga Club Golf Courses, there is a choice of three superb, 18-hole championship courses, each with its own unique style and terrain, but all offering tranquil surroundings and many outstanding views, there is something to challenge golfers of all ages and abilities.

12 - Roda Golf An 18-hole, par 72 course (6,177 metres), with extensive, undulating greens and strategically placed bunkers, together with three large lakes, provide entertainment and excitement at every turn designed by David Thomas

15 - Villa Martin golf course, designed by Paul Putman, was opened in 1972. It is a natural golf course which takes full advantage of the terrain it was built on. It is a challenging 6132 meter 18 hole course

16 - Las Rambles is an attractive, peaceful, secure community boasting spectacular views across pine clad valleys and the 18 hole championship golf course to the sea beyond

17 - Campomaor Located 10 km from Torrevieja, the Royal Campoamor Golf Club opened in 1989 and was designed by Carmelo Gracias Caselles. It is 6203 metres long with a par of 72. There are three 18 hole courses within 500 metres distance of Real Club de Golf Campoamor stands out. The Real Club de Golf Campoamor is covered in lush grass, and is surrounded by beautiful pine woods and orange trees and overlooking the coast from Torrevieja to La Manga del Mar Menor.

La Finca is part of the Quara group who also own Las Ramblas and Villamartin and is situated at the foot of Mount Escotera. The course has been open for approx 5 years and has been designed with Championship golf in mind. The designer has presented the course with the widest variety of different greens to be seen on the Costa Blanca, although some think too varied. The course has good views and a number of lakes with running water ensuring plenty of wild birds and vegetation. A new club house and hotel are currently under construction and the practise facilities are excellent with two chipping and putting greens, practise bunker and a driving range played off grass.

Alicante Golf Seve Ballesteros designed course is on the outskirts of Alicante city and close to the San Juan beaches and is unique because the course is par 72 consisting of six par 3 holes, six par 4 holes and six par 5 holes. On the par 5 14th hole you actually play over old Roman ruins and the lake on the 9th hole is in the shape of an 'S' for Seve. The course is relatively flat but there are long distances between greens and tees and therefore a buggy is almost a must. There are excellent practice facilities with a 70 bay driving range, practice bunkers and chipping and putting areas.

El Plantio Club is situated 3 kilometres from the city of Alicante this is an urban course. It has one round of 18 holes and another one of 9, which makes it great for all players. There is also a practice course with covered tees on two levels and capacity for 120 places, an approach course, a putting green and an international golf school.  Planted with over 45,000 mature trees, over 15,000 bushes and plants and over 500,000 m2 of grassland, this area of semi-desert has been transformed into a beautiful course.

Alenda golf course is situated in the foothills of the Sierra de las Aguilas mountains and is close to the city of Alicante. There is something on offer for all standards of golfer with generous wide fairways for the majority of holes BUT on the back nine there are some serious risk and reward holes that can result in easy birdies or a card destroyer.

Altorreal Golf club is a beautiful course, with superb mountain views and an abundance of olive and pine trees. Clever use of water features means golfers must manage the course carefully, especially on the 9th and 18th holes. Set in the hills just north of Murcia is the beautiful, undulating golf course of Altorreal. It is situated in a natural environment with over 20,000 trees including olive, pine and carob trees.
